[ Revision of MiroSot Categories for 2004 FIRA Robot World Cup Korea ]

In the coming 2004 FIRA Cup, one of the MiroSot categories is closed.FIRA HQ brings down the curtain on MiroSot Small League (3vs.3), the most broadly played category, for the reason of promoting participants to the more advanced categories. Furthermore, 11 vs. 11 category is substituted for 7 vs. 7 as MiroSot the large league.
* However, MiroSot Small League will be held in National League for MiroSot starters.
[FIRA Invitation Cup USA]
FIRA Invitation Cup in San Francisco coming this March (tentatively 20th and 21st), 2004.
Upon our request, a non-profit robotics organization called, Robotics Society of America(RSA) is willing to host the SIX world best teams from MiroSot Middle League (5:5) mainly based on the record of FIRA Cup Austria 2003. The RSA will be offering the competition arena, hotel accommodation and $5,000 prize money for participating teams.

The IRO held in Daejoen, Korea from November 4th to 7th extend its range of participation from Junior and Challenge league, mostly participated by children and juveniles, to RoboLeague for adults including university students.

RoboLeague (for Adult)
RoboMarathon Design a biped/wheel based robot hardware and software algorithm that is capable of finding short cut to finish the 42.195meter marathon track using guiding lines and landmarks provided on the game floor.
RoboBalancing-Beam This game item provides a competition ground for robots to perform balanced and varied actions on a beam.
RoboDancing Design a single or multi robots and program its control algorithm that is capable of dancing and moving around (MiroSot Robot Parade is available).
RoboWeight-Lifting Design a biped robot and control algorithm that is capable of bending and lowering its body to grasp the lifting bar and raise it up high as the robot stands up without any human assistance.
RoboBoxing Design a two armed robot hardware that is capable of playing boxing within the specified ring area against competing robot and force it to fall down.
RoboBasketball Build a robot hardware and control algorithm that is capable of picking up the ball and avoid obstacle and shoot the ball into the basket as well.

Under generous support from Vienna Univ. of Tech., a team will be organied in the University of Pristina.
