14th FIRA RoboWorld Cup 2009 Korea is scheduled from 16th to 20th August 2009 in Incheon, Korea is coming up.

2. [Announcement] Host City for FIRA 2010
At the Annual FIRA Executive Committee Meeting on 23rd July 2008, the members have decided Bangalore India as the host city for FIRA RoboWorld Congress and RoboWorld Cup for 2010. For more information, please visit FIRA2010
Bangalore is the capital of the Indian state of Karnataka. The city is known as the Silicon Valley of India because of its preeminent position as the nation's leading IT employer and exporter. A demographically diverse city, Bangalore is a major economic hub and the fastest growing major metropolis in India.
3. [Result] IRO 2008 Malaysia
The 10th International Robot Olympiad 2009 Malaysia was successfully held at IIUM, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 18th to 21st of December 2008.
There were 625 participants and over 300 observers from 8 countries took a part at the event.
We would like to thank all the participants, parents, teachers and the volunteers for brining successful IRO event.

4. [Announcement] Host City for IRO 2009
At the committee meeting in Malaysia, Daejeon has been selected as next IRO host city for 2009.
IRO 2009 will be held at Daejeon Convention Center (also known as DCC) Daejeon, Korea from 17th to 20th December 2009.
Several other events will be held in conjunction with IRO 2009:
- International Educational Robot Fair 2009 (EROFA 2009)
-IEEE International Symposium on Computational Intelligence in Robotics and Automation (CIRA 2009)
- Information Technology Based on Higher Education & Training (ITHET 2009)
