FIRA Robo World Cup, FIRA & TAROS Conferences

In August 2012, just after the Olympic Games, the Bristol Robotics Laboratory, a joint undertaking of the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England, will host the FIRA RoboWorld Cup, founded in 1996.
 
The academic research of the RoboWorld Cup and Robotics research in general is published at the annual FIRA Robo World Congress.

In 2012, the event will be combined with the UK’s robotics conference “Towards Autonomous Robotic Systems” (TAROS), the annual premier event for UK roboticists.
