Information
The World Cup in Robot Soccer will this year take place in Vienna, Austria from September 28 to October 3 2003. It is beeing organized by the Institute for Handling Devices and Robotics of the Vienna University of Technology (see Related Links).

There will be 6 different competition categories: HuroSot, KheperaSot, MiroSot (Small, Middle and Large League), NaroSot, RoboSot and SimuroSot (Large and Middle League). The event will take place at the Vienna Exhibition Center (see Venue). If you would like to watch the games you are welcome to do so. Admission free!

The event is under the Protection of the Honor of

The main event will take place at the Vienna Exhibition Center (Reed Exhibitions), Hall A , C and the Congress-Center.

Related Events
Parallel to the FIRA World Cup Austria the FIRA World Congress will be organized. The congress will review and discuss the major advances in Science and Technology regarding robotics. Particular emphasis will be given to the applications and development in the area of entertainment/education/service/ personal robots. The contribution should focus on theories, principles and developments as well as application in the common field of robotics.
