The CAFR 2004- Argentinean Championship of Robot Soccer took place at the Uninersidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, Tandil, Buenos Aires, Argentina, from June 9 to June 11.
The SimuroSot Championship Argentina in CAFR 2004 was sponsored by National Council of Scientific and Technological Research(CONICET)and by several relevant institutions.
Total of 12 teams from 2 countries(Argentina and Uruguay) was participated in the SimuroSot category(SimuroSot Middle League).

Simultaneously with the championship, it was carried out a Workshop in Applied Artificial Intelligent to Mobile Robotics. In this event different robots were shown. Also, different exhibitors were invited.

Many have been the people interested in both event (Championship SimuroSot and the Workshop), attending of different place of Argentina like likewise of bordering countries like Uruguay and Chile, and several academic institutions were presents (Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires(UNCPBA), Tandil, Argentina; Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA), Bs. As., Argentina; Universidad de la Republica de Uruguay; Universidad de Moron, Bs. As., Argentina; Universidad Tecnologica Nacional, Bs. As., Argentina).

The Organizing committee CAFR 2004 was integrated by:
